Best auto shop around. I moved into the Sienna Plantation area 6 months ago and had been using Christian Brothers. They did a great job, but their prices are a bit high. A $500 job from them cost half that at Rudy's ($750 quote from Service King).
Rudy himself does work in the shop and talk to customers. They listen and give you the option of new or used parts, trying a work-around to get by for a bit, or will use your parts (I tried to DIY on a couple of items and failed...they bailed me out).
Rudy services all my cars now, as well as my in-laws and some of my friends I have been referring to him. He is honest, doesn't overcharge, and goes above and beyond to get the job done. Glad we found Rudy!
Don't get this Rudy confused with any other automotive shop going by the same name. The Rudy located on FM 1092 in Stafford is a one of a kind person. Not only is the only mechanic that I have used in the past 10 years but he keeps a key to most of my cars just in case I might have an issue. He is honest and backs up all of his work. If there is something that he knows someone else can do for your car, he will let you know. He gives you a price for the work to be done and that is all that you will pay. This man is honest and is my Christian friend for life.
Excellent service....Rudy is the best. So honest and very economical. No worries with holding your vehicle hostage for hours, like some mechanics.
I had a decent mechanic when I was on the North side of town and am happy to say Rudy is my new mechanic and is BY FAR the best I have dealt with since moving to Houston 20 years ago. The only negative so far is the limited amount of parking at his location.
Had a terrible experience as regular customer. When I returned two weeks ago for the same issue I have previously, I was over charged for the same repair I had done on my passenger side. Mr. Rudy quoted me $50 more for his labor and quoted me $250 more than what the parts actually cost. I called our local parts store and the price he gave me was far off than what they were really worth. It's the exact same repair. So in that regard, I understand how he operates his business and I'm thankful for that interaction, because I found an honest shop that was considerate of the issues at hand with my vehicle. Everything happens for a reason.
