The manager, Rebecca, tried to charge me $55 for a basic grooming for my 12 pound yorkie mix. That is ridiculous. We will always be taking our business to pet smart from now on.
I buy pet supplies here for my cat and a chameleon weekly. Never a shortage of supplies, even during the hurricane. The employees are always friendly and helpful.
The grooming manager Rebecca is so rude. I have never been treated so disrespected before, and I'm in the medical field! I go in today to get my dogs nails clipped, and grinded. She is busy with other dogs. She eventually comes out, looks at me and my dog and said "I told you I don't want that dog here anymore", which she never did. She at one point recommended I take her to a vet to clip her nails, but since then her staff have been working with my dog. You see my dog only ever went there, then all of a sudden she can't stand for her right front paw to be touched to get clipped or grinded. I know that they clipped the quick, and to cover up her mistake, she doesn't want her there anymore. She then proceeds to tell me that my dog tried to bite them last time, which she didn't, she just doesn't like that paw touched anymore... she said if she bites one of us you have to pay for quarantine for 10 days. Take her somewhere else, that can giver her a relaxant... I guess in a way she did me a favor, because I took her to Petsmart, and they treated her so well, and could tell by the way she was acting that she had subpar nail care at petco... She will now always get her care from Petsmart!!
New store, clean to be a pet store, good selection. Understaffed, waited around 8 minutes for someone to show at Cash register.
Cleaner, and better stocked, than any Petco I've ever been to.
