Nice atmosphere. Very tasty food. I ordered the chicken fried steak with brown gravy and mashed potatoes and I was wowed by the flavor. The breading on the steak was perfect - flavorful, crispy and not too salty. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely be eating here.
We happen to be driving by and felt like something new. Lots of food options and the food and service were great. Awesome neighborhood restaurant and we'll definitely be back!
The pig out fries are absolutely delicious! The food was a little slow to come out but they were fairly busy, so I guess it wasn't unreasonable. The food was very hot and very fresh. The chicken fingers were juicy and well seasoned. The okra was amazing and perfectly salted (not something you find much anymore). The white gravy is an interesting mix between pepper gravy and cream gravy, not quite what I was looking for but still very good. My brother got the Seafood platter but didn't care for the breaded fish that came on it as he thought it was too heavily breaded. My mom go the farm burger and thought it was okay. She didn't specify the temperature of the meat so it was a little overcooked for her taste but wasn't truly over cooked and was still juicy. We'll definitely be going back to try new things!
I am a vegetarian who cheats once a month. This place, folks, is a place to cheat. BEST CHICKEN TENDERS ever. They were fresh, juicy and perfectly marinated and battered with a crunchy and tasty coating and the portion was so huge that 3 people shared (but we are small eaters). Cute country vibe. Go there for your fatty guilty pleasures.
Great (and interesting) salad options, as well as more "filling" southern options. Beer from St Arnolds, Karbach and the odd Sam Adams seasonal too.
