My daughter got a pedicure and manicure for her birthday. Everything was rushed. Walked in and was done 13 minutes later. I'm a regular customer here and I have never seen anyone in and out so quickly! When I called because I was unhappy with the service the lady that answered the phone hung up on my face instead of answering my questions! I called back and they just let the phone ring and didn't answer! I was still in the parking lot and it took everything I had in me not to go back in and act a fool. I know that wouldn't have changed anything! I'll just stop recommending Tipsy nails to my friends and I'll stop going to this place myself! Piss poor customer service!!
I absolutely love this salon. They have a great selection of colors, and their staff are highly skilled. I've been to several salons in town and this is by far the best.
It was a decent place until new management took over. It doesn't have the nail "spa" feel anymore. It's loud. The staff can be rude and could care less if you're happy with your service. They speed through your service and the outcome is not pretty at all. They get annoyed when you tell them about it even though you're paying YOUR money to get what you ask for. They now even serve cheap wine in plastic cups. Definitely has taken a downhill plunge. My gel is peeling and I had them done within the last week and my feet look the same as when I went in. I won't be going anymore that's for sure.
First time at tipsy nails and it was such a great experience! Got my pedicure and lashes done there and they look very natural compared to other places I've visited. Clean salon& tools used were sterilized. I highly recommend this salon!
The quality of service has gone down so much since I first started going 3 1/2 years ago when they first opened. There are only 2 experienced ladies there that can do a good pedicure on any given day. The problem is they are always booked because this has become common knowledge. (Ask for Ann by the way) Well on this recent visit Ann was busy of course and I was assigned some teenager who seemed lost and confused on what to do first and where to start. She didn't even know how to turn on the water jets for the foot tub. When she began her hands were shaking she could barely remove my old nail polish. At this point I stopped her and asked to see the manager to request someone else. I told the manager that I didn't mind waiting but I need it someone experienced to do my nails due to the fact that the last time I visited I was stuck with another inexperienced technician and and unsatisfactory pedicure. The manager tried to tell me that the young lady was experience but she just works slow but she would send someone over to do my pedicure. The next girl was only slightly better than the first and I went ahead and allowed her to finish because at that point I just wanted my feet done and to be gone from this place. After my service I did voice my concerns to the manager however she wasn't very that apologetic and wasn't trying to ensure I was satisfied. Instead she just kept saying "$30 please". I gave her my credit card to pay the $30 but at this point I was so frustrated I intentionally did not leave a tip because I don't believe in tipping for poor service. To my surprise and disbelief when I got home and checked my credit card balance this company had charged me an extra six dollars. I'm guessing they wrote in a tip after the fact, after I left which is illegal and unethical. The charge on my credit card is for $36. My receipt shows $30 which is what is supposed to be see attached picture. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges and I will be also reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau and the district attorneys office. Do yourself a favor and drive a few minutes down hwy 6 to another nail salon and avoid these thieves.
